Powerball’s lottery jackpot has soared to a new record $1.9 billion after there was no first-place winner in the drawing held late Saturday night, Nov. 5.
The winning numbers for the $1.6 billion jackpot on Saturday were 28-45-53-56-69, and the Powerball was 20.

The richest people in America are revealed in a new Forbes 400 ranking, which includes over a dozen New Yorkers.
To come up with its 41st annual list of the 400 wealthiest Americans, the outlet consulted with a variety of sources, including financial advisors, Securities and Exchange Commission documents, court filings, attorneys, and news articles.

A New York company is recalling egg products that were produced in Italy and are ineligible to be exported to the United States.
Valrhona Inc., a Brooklyn company, is recalling about 66 pounds of dried albumin egg products, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on Wednesday, Aug. 31.
The recalled items were produced on Feb. 2, 2022, March 18, 2022, June 17, 2022, and July 19, 2022.
