19: School In Area Closes Due To Positive Case
A school in the area is closed for 10 days for in-person learning after a positive case of COVID-19. J.V. Forrestal Elementary School in Beacon will conduct remote learning through Wednesday, Nov. 11, Beacon City School District Superintendent Matt Landahl said in a letter to the community. 19: Positive Test Reported At High School In The Area
An area high school will be transitioning to its remote learning model for the rest of the week following a confirmed positive COVID-19 case in the building. Beacon Schools Superintendent Matt Landahl announced that the district received a report of a positive COVID-19 case at Beacon High School early on Wednesday, Oct. 28, and may have exposed others to the virus. C. Difficile Case To Close Beacon High School For Cleaning
Beacon High School will be closed Wednesday, March 27, due to a confirmed case of bacteria that causes diarrhea and colitis. Beacon City School District Superintendent Matt Landahl said school staff learned on Tuesday, March 26, of a confirmed case of C. diff, Clostridioides difficile, in an announcement on the district's website and in an email to parents.
