'She's A Very Smart Cat': Missing Pet Returns To NY Home, Rings Doorbell When Long Island resident Stefanie Whitley’s doorbell rang in the middle of the night, she never could’ve expected who she’d find. On Sunday, Aug. 14, about a week after Whitley’s 8-year-old cat Lilly went missing from their home, the friendly feline walked right up to the Mastic Beach residence and stuck her face in their doorbell security camera.
