A visit by President Joe Biden to the Hudson Valley is expected to create hours-long road closures and cause heavy traffic delays. The president will travel to Dutchess County to speak at IBM’s campus off Route 9 in Poughkeepsie at around 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6. A section of a busy Hudson Valley roadway has been renamed to honor a fallen area firefighter who was killed in a massive fire trying to save more than 125 residents.
