More than two dozen Hudson Valley high school students were among the 300 that were chosen as semifinalists at this year’s prestigious Regeneron Science Talent Search (STS). A Binghamton University student from the Hudson Valley is doing his best to help those ailing during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. New Rochelle native Jacob Goodman, a junior studying mechanical engineering, was challenged by a professor to build a working ventilator.
