Pediatric multi-system inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C) is high in 18 states across the U.S., including New York, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. MIS-C can develop weeks after a child has gotten COVID-19 or been in contact with someone with the virus. The incident took place around 8:56 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, after state police from the Monroe barracks were notified of a stolen vehicle in the area, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
