The crash took place southbound around 8 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 15, near Exit 2 for Route 120 in North Castle, said the New York State Police. The right and center lanes were closed immediately after the crash before the center lane was cleared a short time later. All lanes were reopened by 9:45 a.m., with up to two-mile backups remaining.
