Person Struck, Killed By Train In Northern Westchester One person was killed after "coming in contact" with a train in Northern Westchester. The incident occurred in Ossining, around 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 7, according to Jen Flanagan, spokesperson for Amtrak. Flanagan said the person, who has not yet been identified, was trespassing on the track in the area of Metro North MP 31 on the Hudson Line. There were no reported injuries to the 97 passengers or crew members onboard the train. According to the MTA, the incident took place around 11:35 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9, when the southbound Croton-Harmon-bound train struck the person at the Breakneck Ridge station in Fishkill in Dutchess County. Man Airlifted To Westchester Medical Center After Being Hit By Metro-North Train A man received serious injuries to his leg after being struck by a work train heading north to Poughkeepsie. The incident took place around 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, near the Metro-North Breakneck Ridge Station, said Meredith Daniels, a spokeswoman for the MTA.  When police and first responders arrived on the scene they found the man had sustained leg injuries and he was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center, Daniels said. Trains on the Hudson Line were delayed 15 to 20 minutes as a result of the incident. The MTA police are investigating the incident.
