An Italian restaurant chain with locations across the country has closed several of its New York eateries. Carrabba’s Italian Grill shuttered its Albany County restaurant – located in Latham at 675 Troy Schenectady Road – on Friday, Feb. 23 after 19 years in operation. It was the company’s sole Capital Region location. The restaurant chain also closed its only Long Island locations, in Smithtown at 730 Smithtown Bypass, and in Central Islip at 20 North Research Place. A delivery-only burger chain created by a YouTuber with millions of subscribers is catching on in New York. MrBeast Burger was created by Jimmy Donaldson, who has more than 94 million subscribers on his MrBeast YouTube channel, in partnership with Virtual Dining Concepts. Woman Busted With BAC Nearly Triple Legal Limit In Area
A late-night traffic stop by New York State Police troopers on patrol in the Hudson Valley led to the arrest of a 32-year-old woman who was allegedly driving with a blood alcohol content nearly triple the legal limit. At approximately 3:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, troopers in Orange County stopped upstate New York resident Melody McNamara, of Fayetteville, on I-90 in the town of Florida for multiple traffic violations.
