A 28-year-old employee of a school in the region faces a felony charge after allegedly endangering a disabled student, police said. The events leading to the arrest began in Northern Westchester at around 5:45 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, when a suspicious incident at the Shrub Oak International School at 3151 Stony St. prompted a police response, Yorktown Police announced on Friday, Nov. 15. School Worker Accused Of Abusing Student In Hudson Valley
An employee at a school in Northern Westchester County has been accused of abusing a student. New York State Police from the Somers barracks announced on Monday night, Aug. 19, that the alleged incident occurred earlier this month at the Westchester Exceptional Children's School in North Salem. Woman Accused Of Assaulting Child In Area
A woman accrued felony charges for hitting and verbally abusing her child on numerous occasions in the area, said police. Crystal Whyble, of LaGrange, 28, was charged with the felony of second-degree assault and the misdemeanor of endangering the welfare of a child on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Have you seen her? New York State Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a wanted woman on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child and failing to appear in the City of Peekskill Court to respond to the charge. Lauren DeHaynes, 31, also found herself in hot water in northern Westchester last year, when she was taken into police custody for using stolen credit cards that were taken from a vehicle in Cortlandt. Poughkeepsie Woman Charged With Endangering Child
A Poughkeepsie woman was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child following an investigation by Rhinebeck Police. Katherine S. Campbell, 29, was arrested Wednesday following an investigation at Astor Services for Children in Rhinebeck, said Sgt. Peter Dunn. Campbell was arraigned in the Village of Rhinebeck Justice Court and released on her own recognizance. She is due to return to court on April 11.
