Dutchess Man Caught Drunk Driving Over St. Patrick’s Day Weekend: Sheriff Deputies arrested three drivers for DWI in Putnam County over the St. Patrick’s Day holiday weekend, authorities said. The arrests took place in Southeast between Sunday, March 16, and Monday, March 17, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Wednesday, March 19.  Felony DWI Arrest The first arrest happened on Saturday, March 16, around 1 a.m., when a deputy on Route 22 spotted a vehicle swerving out of its lane and running a red light. The Princeton Review said 73 percent of students and parents reported "high" or "very high" stress over the admissions process. IDs Released For 5 Family Members Killed In Murder-Suicide In Quiet Suburban NY Neighborhood The identities have been released for five family members who were killed in a murder-suicide in a residential Long Island community. The incident happened just before noon on Sunday, Aug. 25 at a residence on a cul-de-sac in Syosset. Nassau County Police say officers who responded to the residence on 76 Wyoming Court for a report of shots fired discovered a man outside the home who "sustained an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound." White Plains Native Audrey Harlow, Taught In Yorktown Central School District For 48 Years, 85 Audrey Rose Harlow died on Oct. 12; she was 85. She was born and raised in White Plains, the daughter of Arthur Rose of New York City and Julia Keeler Rose of South Salem. She attended White Plains schools until 1949 when the family moved to Elmsford. There, Audrey graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School in June 1951. Audrey earned both her BS and MS degrees from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
