President Biden Commutes Hudson Valley Woman's Sentence For Selling Cocaine
Two New York women convicted of non-violent federal drug offenses are among 16 people nationwide to receive clemency from President Joe Biden. Stacy Wilder, age 49, of Albany, served nearly six years in federal prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to possess and distribute cocaine in the Northern District of New York in January 2003. Fairfield County Man Busted With Drugs Following Resident Complaints, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been arrested on numerous alleged drug offenses after residents complained to police about his drug dealing. Jose Adames, age 45, of Danbury, was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 21, following the execution of search warrants for his body and residence. According to Det. Lt. ICE Makes Three Arrests In Westchester
Three people in Westchester were arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement as part of ongoing enforcement efforts in and around New York City. ICE announced that it arrested 35 people in the Metro area between Monday, Feb. 17 and Saturday, Feb. 25, including three from Westchester County. Arrests were made in Mount Kisco, Peekskill, and Yonkers, of suspects with pending charges against them, including assault and drug offenses. Police: Man Going 90 MPH On I-84 Was Under Influence, Driving Recklessly
Two suspects with warrants out for their arrest attempted to dupe Connecticut State Police troopers with family members' names after being busted with heroin and crack-cocaine during a speeding stop on I-84. Troopers conducting speed enforcement on I-84 in Willington conducted a traffic stop near exit 70 over the weekend, when a vehicle was spotted driving 90 mph in a 65 mph zone. Danbury Man Busted With Two Pounds Of Pot
A Fairfield County man was busted with more than two pounds of marijuana following an investigation into complaints from residents of drug dealing in the area. Alberto Lantigua, 37, of Danbury, was arrested on Thursday for drug offenses, which stemmed from an investigation that began months earlier, said Danbury Police Department Lt. Mark Williams.
