The unidentified man was discovered around 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug.15  in Nyack, said Captain Michael F. Shannon of the Orangetown Police. Investigation Launched Into Death Of Infant In Westchester A police investigation has been launched into the death of a 6-week-old in Northern Westchester. Troopers, along with the North Salem Ambulance and Westchester County EMS, responded to Raymond Road in North Salem for a report of an unresponsive 6-week-old male on Friday, June 14, state police from the Somers barracks said. The victim, Mason J. Cowan, was transported to Danbury Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The investigation into the infant’s death is ongoing and no further information has been released. Person Found Dead In Area Cottage Firefighters found a dead person inside a cottage apartment that burned on Monday, June 10 in the area. The call for the fire came in around 8:24 a.m., at 1185 Route 9G in a small cottage in Hyde Park that is one of three on the property that also contains a two-story apartment building, said Jeffrey Scala, assistant chief of the Roosevelt Fire District.
