Albany County Sheriff’s deputies made the shocking discovery at an Albany residence in the West Hill neighborhood, located on Sheridan Avenue near Henry Johnson Boulevard, on Thursday, July 11. Deputies obtained a search warrant for the home after learning of a possibly deceased individual inside. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10:20 p.m., Saturday, June 1, in the area of 472 Main St., in Poughkeepsie. According to Det. Lt. McMahon was with the Rockland County Sheriff's Office and Corrections Division for 29 years, beginning in corrections in1989, and moved to the Patrol Division as an officer in 1996.  He worked for the Rockland County Drug Task Force from 1998 to 1999 before becoming a well-known and respected crime scene detective in 1999 to present.
