Hit-Run Crash: Man Seriously Injured In Danbury A man was seriously injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Fairfield County. The incident occurred in Danbury around 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 3 in the area of 9A Clapboard Ridge Road. When officers arrived, they found the man in the roadway with serious injuries, said Erin Henry, spokesperson for the Danbury Police Department. The victim has not yet been identified by police. Teen Busted For Drugs Following Danbury Crash An 18-year-old girl was busted by Danbury police on multiple counts of drug possession following a vehicle crash on Clapboard Ridge Road. Emily Burkhardt of Sherman was arrested on Feb. 8, after a police officer responding to the crash detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from Burkhardt's vehicle, said Danbury Police Det. Lt.
