A Northern Westchester man will spend close to decades in prison for sex trafficking of minors in New York and Connecticut and production of child pornography. Victor Gonzalez, 41, of Millwood was sentenced to 19 1/2 years in prison in White Plains Federal Court on Friday, May 3 after pleading guilty on Jan. 24. Additional charges, including three felonies, have been filed against a 34-year-old area man who was arrested in a child pornography case in March. On Monday, April 22, a grand jury issued a criminal indictment charging Nicholas J. The North Jersey founder of a nature tour company operating from the Jersey Shore north to Poughkeepsie and southern Connecticut was arrested by federal Homeland Security agents on charges of trafficking child porn. Vaughn Tiedeman, 46, of Living Adventure Tours, was ordered held without bail by a federal judge in Newark Monday afternoon on a charge of distributing child pornography. Area Man Behind Bars After Being Charged With Possession Of Child Porn
A 60-year-old man is behind bars after state police say he was found to be in possession of child pornography. An investigation by the Rhinebeck Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the State Police Troop K Computer Crimes Unit, and the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office determined Poughkeepsie resident Kevin M. Werner possessed multiple images containing what he knew or believed to be child pornography. A former Dutchess County teacher who pleaded guilty to possessing child porn has been sentenced to 10 years of probation and six months of electronic monitoring.Steven L. A 32-year-old man is behind bars after state police say he was in possession of child pornography as well as two weapons. An investigation by the Wappinger Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Troop K Computer Crimes Unit led to the obtainment of a search warrant granted by the Dutchess County Supreme Court. A former elementary school teacher in the area who resigned amid child pornography charges has admitted to the crime. Steven Schwartz, 54, was indicted in May on seven counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child Dutchess County. A 25-year-old area man has been charged with the rape of a minor after the mother of the victim became aware of the abuse in Putnam County.
