Officer, Attorney From Hudson Valley Dies At Age 56
A beloved former NYPD officer from the Hudson Valley who dedicated much of his life to serving the department in various roles and practicing his faith has died. Putnam County resident John Welch, of Mahopac, died on Thursday, April 6 at the age of 56, according to his obituary. A 21-year-old who was killed in a fiery crash in Westchester County is being remembered as a hard worker who loved his family and friends. Paul Fitzpatrick, of Yonkers, died Sunday morning, July 17, following the wreck on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh, according to New York State Police.
