Championship-Winning Cheerleading Team From Hudson Valley Celebrated By Lawmakers A championship-winning cheerleading team from a Hudson Valley high school got the chance to celebrate their impressive accomplishment with local lawmakers at the New York State Capitol.  The Putnam County cheerleading team, the Putnam Valley Tigers, was invited to Albany by Assemblyman Matt Slater, Rep. Mike Lawler, and Sen. Gilgo Beach Murders: Police Investigating Possible Link Between Alleged Killer, Missing Woman Authorities are investigating a possible connection between Gilgo Beach murder suspect Rex Heuermann and the disappearance of a South Carolina woman around six years ago. Julia Ann Bean was last seen in Sumter County, South Carolina on May 31, 2017. Her daughter reported her missing nearly six months later. On Sunday, Aug. 20, someone claiming to be Bean’s friend contacted the sheriff’s office and claimed to have information in the case, the agency announced on Facebook.
