34-Year-Old Shot To Death Near Capital Region Park After Repeated Fights, Police Say Police are seeking tips after a man was shot to death near a park in the region. The killing happened at around 10 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, near Albany’s Bleecker Stadium, near Ontario and First streets. Albany Police said officers were called about a shooting and found evidence consistent with gunfire when they arrived. As detectives were investigating the incident, they learned that a 34-year-old gunshot victim had been dropped off at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
