Popular Family-Run Supermarket To Open Two New Westchester Locations A popular Westchester supermarket is set to open two new locations in the area. Fans of the specialty grocery store will be happy to know that DeCicco & Sons recently announced its plans to open a new market in Bedford in March. The new store will be the 10th store for the chain which also has an 11th location planned for Edge-on-Hudson in Sleepy Hollow.  No word yet on when that store will open. Other DeCicco & Sons stores in the area include Ardsley, Armonk, Brewster, Eastchester, Harrison, Larchmont, Millwood, Pelham, and Somers.

The incident took place on Monday, Jan. 3, when a 16-year-old student at Fox Lane High School in Bedford, "voluntarily jumped" from the third-floor window, said Bedford Police Lt. Jeffrey Gulick. Local Man Who Worked As Store Manager In Northern Westchester Dies At Age 31 A Westchester native and local store manager who grew up in Putnam County has died at the age of 31. Thomas Schupp II, a native of White Plains, and a graduate of Mahopac High School, died on Monday, Dec. 20.  Schupp worked as the manager of the Wireless Zone in Bedford.
