Two Dutchess County Drug Dealers Nabbed After Residents Complain: Police Two Hudson Valley alleged drug dealers were nabbed after a drug task force received complaints from residents of drugs being sold on the streets. The Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force received reports of narcotic and drug dealing in the area of 60 Carroll Street, a large apartment building on the south side of Poughkeepsie, according to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the task force. Agents identified Stephen Bai, age 39, a Poughkeepsie resident, as a dangerous drug dealer operating out of an apartment in that building. Agents were able to make several purchases …

Woman From Region Charged With Making A Threat Of Mass Harm Against School A woman from the region has been charged with allegedly making a threat of mass harm after she threatened to blow up a middle school. The incident occurred in Sullivan County around 5:20 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22 in the village of Liberty. According to Chief Steven D'Agata of the Liberty Police Department, Chiffvon Steele, age 42, of Liberty, commented to staff at Liberty Middle School that she would  “blow this [expletive] place up." Orange County resident Anthony Mahabir, 38, of the City of Newburgh, pleaded guilty in Orange County Court on Wednesday, Oct. 21, assault, arson, and criminal contempt, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
