The event, which is expecting nearly 1,000 attendees, will take place Saturday, July 16, starting at 11 a.m. for VIPs and 1 p.m. for general admission at Kirby Hill Farm, 664 Old Quaker Hill Road, Pawling.
This year, Green Chimneys has been selected, along with Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue, as the charity of choice, which means all tickets sold using promotional code "GreenChimneys" will support the organization’s therapeutic programs for children with special needs, and the animals that help them. Green Chimneys will receive 70 percent of each purchase using the "GreenChimneys" code.
“Recently Mindy and Randy Levine have graciously pledged a $10,000 donation directly to Green Chimneys on behalf of the Victory Cup! We are now asking the community to match this donation and assist us in raising a total of $20,000 for Green Chimneys by July 16. Supporters can make donations and request that 100 percent of those proceeds go to the cause,” said Joe Bachmeier.
Green Chimneys services include an accredited special education school on two campuses, residential treatment center, animal-assisted and nature-based therapies, public education and recreation programs, and community-based support for youths and families.
Additionally, Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue will be returning for a second year, offering pony rides at The Victory Cup. Lucky Orphans provides sanctuary to 50 horses as well as Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Services. Tickets sold using the code “LOHR” will support the rescue’s mission of People Helping Horses Heal People. Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue is a nonprofit horse sanctuary, home to 50 residents. Lucky Orphans provides education through equine welfare, riding lessons, and promoting volunteerism.
