The warrant was a result of an investigation into narcotics sales taking place at the home at 4930 Route 22 in the Town of Amenia, said Frank Tasciotti, assistant coordinator of the task force
During the search, agents uncovered 500 bags of heroin, 85 bags of crack cocaine, a quantity of marijuana, scales, packaging materials and two illegal handguns including a .45 caliber and a .380 caliber, Tasciotti said.
Arrested during the search were Shannon Kett, 26, and Nyteona Brown, 23.
Kett was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts criminal possession of a handgun.
Brown was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Both women were arraigned in Town of Amenia Court and are being held at the Dutchess County Jail. Brown is being held as a fugitive from justice on a warrant from Georgia for felony forgery charges.
