Two North East Men ID'd As Victims Of Fatal Dover Crash

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. --  The names of the two men killed following a one-car crash early Friday on Weils Road in the Town of Dover were released by state police Saturday morning.

A preliminary investigation indicates that Otto W. Eisermann, 33, of the town of North East in Dutchess County was operating a Ford pick-up truck eastbound on Weils Road when for an unknown reason, the vehicle exited the roadway, state police said.

The truck overturned and came to rest partially submerged in a pond approximately 5 feet from the roadway. Eisermann and his passenger, Billyjack A. Hubert, 30, also of North East, were pronounced deceased at the scene.

According to police, a SCUBA Unit was required to help extricate the vehicle from the icy water. During the investigation, responding officers located two male occupants in the vehicle, both dead. 

The collision is currently being investigated by the New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit. 

New York State Police were assisted at the scene by Northern Dutchess Paramedics, the Dover Highway Department and Medical Examiner.
