Johnnie L. Whittie, 51, of Ferriday, LA drove a 2011 Volvo tractor-trailer through the EZ pass lane, activating a “toll unpaid” sign that caught the attention of PAPD Officer Ed Berdecia, who was standing nearby, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said.

A computer check showed the vehicle wasn’t registered.

Whittie was charge with theft of service and tampering with public records and was issued summonses.
