Matthew S. Paul, 43, was charged with felony-level DWI and unlicensed operation after leaving the LaGrange Court House, said Capt. John Watterson.

Deputies present in the court warned Paul not to drive after the proceeding, however, he elected to do so anyway and was subsequently arrested, Watterson said.

After being processed, Paul was arraigned before the Town of LaGrange Court again and was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
