A computer check after the 2013 white Chevrolet truck was stopped around 11 p.m. found that Corey J. O’Neil, 30, had his license revoked for DWI, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this afternoon.

O’Neil — who along with his two passengers is from Salamanca in upstate New York — told the officers he was transporting cigarettes, Pentangelo said.

They also found a small amount of marijuana in the center console, he said.

New Jersey State Treasury authorities arrested the vehicle owner, passenger Jaymee Minner, 34, while seizing the truck and its contents.

O’Neil and his other passenger, 29-year-old Curtis W. Solner, were charged with possession and illegal transport of untaxed cigarettes, as well as failure to maintain books.

O’Neil also was charged with pot possession and driving while on the revoked list.
