Pawling Driver With Broken Arm Freed In GWB Double Tractor-Trailer Crash

A 61-year-old Pawling man sustained a broken arm and had to be cut from an SUV after a crash with two tractor trailers on the eastbound George Washington Bridge late Monday morning.

Members of the Port Authority Police Emergency Services unit and authority tunnel and bridge agents freed the driver from his Mercedes after the 11:30 a.m. crash, the authority's Joseph Pentangelo said.

The driver as then taken to Harlem Hospital.

There were significant delays.

No summonses were issued.
