Mobil/Dunkin' Donuts Burglary In Milan Under Investigation

MILAN, N.Y. -- The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office is investigating a commercial burglary at the Mobil/Dunkin Donuts in Milan during the early morning hours on Sunday.

The burglary took place around 4:15 am, at 1445 Route 199, when the unknown suspects disabled the alarm system and stole cash from the ATM machine before fleeing the scene, said Capt. John Watterson. 

Dutchess County Sheriff's detectives are in the early stages of investigating the burglary, but did say the suspects damaged both the alarm system and the ATM machine while disabling them, Watterson added.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anything in the area of the business during the early morning hours. Anyone with information is urged to contact Det.
