Jitney bus goes off Henry Hudson ramp toward GWB

BEYOND BERGEN: A jitney bus with a driver and passenger aboard went off a northbound Henry Hudson Parkway ramp near the George Washington Bridge in Washington Heights this morning, police said.

The bus careened nearly 30 feet before slamming into a tree on the hillside between the highway’s north- and southbound lanes just after 9 a.m., the NYPD reported.
