Head-On Crash In Clinton Corners Sends Two To Hospital

CLINTON CORNERS, N.Y. -- Two people landed in the hospital following a head-on crash in Clinton Corners on Tuesday, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.

Two people were sent to to the hospital following a head-on crash at the intersection of Bulls Head Road and Milan Hollow Road in Clinton Corners.

The accident, that occurred at 3 p.m. on Bulls Head Road and Milan Hollow Road, occurred after one of the drivers failed to keep right at the intersection and hit an oncoming car head-on, said Capt. John Watterson.

Two people were injured in the crash, with one being sent to Vassar Medical Center and the other to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital.

Both drivers received non-threatening injuries, Watterson said.

No charges have been filed. An investigation continues into the cause of the crash.
