Donald H. Briggs, who was arrested after allegations surfaced that he was allegedly engaging in inappropriate sexual with a person under 17, said Capt. John Watterson.
The Sheriff's Office, along with the Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center and the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office conducted the investigation into the alleged sexual contact with a non-family member, Watterson said.
Briggs was charged with two counts of felony criminal sexual act. He is being held at the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
