Dover Man Faces Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

DOVER, N.Y. -- Drugs and a weapon were found on a Dover man who was stopped by police for running a stop sign, New York State Police said.

Gene Tuck, 37, was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, various traffic violations, and possession of a weapon, when he was stopped on State Road 55 in Dover for failing to stop at a stop sign, state police said.

During the stop, troopers discovered the drugs and weapon.

Tuck was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
