Man Stabbed To Death In Hudson Valley, Suspect On Run Police in the Hudson Valley are searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed and killed on a city street. The incident occurred in Orange County at 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 120 Parmenter St., in the city of Newburgh. According to Mike Neppl, chief of staff for the city, officers responding to a shot spotter notification found the man with injuries consistent with a stabbing. The incident occurred in Rockland County at 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, in the area of 110 W. Crooked Hill Road in Orangetown. According to Capt. Michael Shannon of the Orangetown Police, the Rockland County Sheriff's Bomb Squad, along with the Pearl River Fire Department and ambulance squad, responded to the scene. The incident occurred on the Westchester/Rockland County border around 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 13. According to the Tarrytown Fire Department, the Marine 5 crew responded within minutes, equipped with rescue swimmers onboard. Hudson Valley Man Busted With Kilo Of Cocaine During Traffic Stop, Police Say A Hudson Valley man is behind bars after he was allegedly busted with a kilo of cocaine during a traffic stop. Ulster County resident Anthony Johnson, age 41, of Kingston, was stopped on Thursday, Oct. 10, on I-87 while driving a 2018 Audi Q7 in Orange County in Cornwall. According to Trooper Steven Nevel of the New York State Police, a probable cause search of the vehicle during the stop by troopers and K9 Moran yielded a kilo of cocaine and $7,739 in cash. The four include: Sage Pere, age 26, of Monticello, was charged on Friday, Aug. 23, for criminal use of a benefit card.
