Washington, Millbrook Candidates Cruise To Victory

MILLBROOK, N.Y. -- Incumbent Washington town Councilmen Al De Bonis and Robert Audia easily won re-election, according to unofficial results released on Tuesday by the Dutchess County Board of Elections.

Results show that De Bonis received 513 votes, while Audia garnered 528.

The pair did not have contested re-election bids. 

Town Clerk Mary Alex, who also ran unopposed, was easily re-elected. Unofficial results show that Alex received 578 votes. 

Joseph Spagnola has been elected as the town's new highway superintendent; results show that he received 533 votes in his uncontested election.

Incumbent Town Justices Elizabeth Shequine and Jeff Feigelson, who each ran unopposed, were re-elected with 524 and 495 votes, respectively.

In Millbrook, Rodney Brown won an uncontested special election for the rest of a term to a village trustee seat. Results show that Brown received 198 votes.
