The alert for an 86-year-old Hudson Valley man who went missing Thursday was canceled early Friday morning.

The further information was immediately available.

Authorities are asking the public's help in their search for a Hudson Valley man who went missing on Thursday.

Harold Clark is an 86-year-old from St. Remy, just south of Kingston. 

The 5-foot-10, 130-pound Clark has dementia and diabetes and may be in need of medical attention. He has gray hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen on State Route 213 in St. Remy at 1 p.m. on Thursday.  He was last seen wearing blue jeans, brown shoes, and a blue coat.

He was was driving a 1995 gray Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck with New York registration GWL-7784.

Authorities say he may be attempting to travel to New Jersey.

Anyone with information on Clark's whereabouts should call the Ulster County Sheriff's Office at 845-338-3640 or 911.
