EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. - You know you're doing something right when you're asked back to perform at the same venue for 28 years.

Oldies band Adam and the NewHearts made their 28th appearance at East Fishkill's Independence Day celebration Sunday night, taking adoring fans back to the days of their youth, with the group specializing in music from the 50s and 60s.

A large crowd gathered around the pavilion at the East Fishkill Rec. to take in the Jersey-based group's performance, as they wowed fans of all ages.
