Both high school seniors and young adults will be honored by The Chamber Foundation, the organization's nonprofit educational initiative, which will present nearly $40,000 in scholarships to students in Dutchess County at what they refer to as a Contact Breakfast. Chamber Foundation scholarships range in their specificity: some are offered to students across a variety of disciplines, while others are precisely targeted for those pursuing a career in music, journalism, finance and other fields.
At this and every Contact Breakfast, the Chamber's Ambassador committee will collect canned and dry goods for the Hudson Valley community.
The June Contact Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, June 21 from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel and Conference Center. Tickets are $25 for Chamber members who purchase in advance or $30 for members who wish to purchase at the door. Nonmembers can also attend for $35. To RSVP, call (845) 454-1700, ext. 1000 or click here.
