Nestled on the shores of the river, and in the shadow of the Mid-Hudson Bridge and Walkway Over the Hudson State Park, the Ice House was the hottest ticket on the waterfront for Saturday night's Independence day celebration, and the place was packed.

No wonder - what could be better than eating a great meal at your table, as you watch the fireworks display over the Hudson?

"This is our fourth summer here, and we offer American cuisine, bistro-style," a hostess at the restaurant told Daily Voice. "We offer seafood, burgers, wraps, the location is great, we have a friendly staff, and we're close to the river and the Walkway - and people love both."
