Man Nabbed For Spray Painting Graffiti On Multiple Buildings In Beacon: Police A man was busted for allegedly spray painting multiple buildings with large graffiti letters in the region. Dutchess County resident Richard Bulson, age 40, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Friday, Sept. 27, for the Saturday, Sept. 21 incident on Main Street in Beacon. According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, an investigation identified Bulson as responsible for the alleged crimes. Rock-Throwing Vandal Damages Fire Truck, Other Targets In Capital Region, Police Say A 33-year-old man is accused of vandalizing a fire station and other targets in the region. Albany County resident Michael Cooper, age 33, of Cohoes, was arrested on suspicion of felony criminal mischief Thursday, July 11. Cohoes Police said officers were called to the city’s fire department on Central Avenue shortly after 6 p.m. that evening for vandalism to a fire truck. The vehicle’s windshield had been shattered by a rock, leaving nearly $1,500 in damage. Investigators identified Cooper as the suspected perpetrator and arrested him a short time later. Israeli Flag Defaced At Hudson Valley Service Center, Police Investigating For the second time in two weeks, an Israeli flag has been the target of vandals at a Hudson Valley service station. The incident occurred in Rockland County early Friday, May 24, at the Monsey Service Center on Main Street in Monsey. According to Lauren Pepper, the manager of the center and daughter of the owner, Joe Kurek, another flag was stolen on Friday, May 17. They quickly replaced the stolen flag with a new one that was defaced sometime in the overnight hours of Thursday, May 23, into Friday, May 24, said Lt. Chris Franklin of the Ramapo Police.
