One Dead, Another Injured In Violent Altercation At Hudson Valley Auto Parts Store
A violent altercation at an Orange County auto parts store left one man dead from a gunshot and another injured from stab wounds, police said. The incident occurred on Monday, Jan. 6, at the AutoZone store at 536 Broadway in Newburgh. According to Mike Neppl, spokesman for the city of Newburgh Police, officers responding to a call for a stabbing discovered two men injured at the store. A 16-year-old boy is in critical but stable condition after being stabbed multiple times near his high school in the region. The incident occurred on Buckley Street around 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, in Sullivan County's village of Liberty. A person residing in the region was nabbed for alleged attempted murder in a stabbing incident that seriously wounded another man. The attack occurred in Dutchess County at 1 a.m. Sunday, June 30, in the area of Smith and Mansion Streets in Poughkeepsie.
