Hart Memorial Library at 1130 East Main St. in Shrub Oak, Yorktown Police said on Friday, Sept. 6.  According to the department, at around 1:20 p.m. on the day of the incident, Hughes pulled his pants and underwear down in full view of the victim. Fallen Detective From Hudson Valley Was About To Be A Grandfather Richard Cunningham was a decorated police officer, but he's being remembered for his work outside of uniform following his sudden death last week.  Northern Westchester resident Cunningham, age 60, of Peekskill, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Aug. 31. He had been serving as a detective with the Greenburgh Police Department. He left behind a wife and three adult children. His obituary said that at the time of his death, Cunningham was about to become a grandfather. 25-Year-Old Accused Of Stabbing Victim Outside Bar In Northern Westchester An investigation has led to the arrest of a man in connection to a stabbing outside a bar in Northern Westchester. New York State Police say the suspect, Luis F. Contreras Paredes, age 25, of Peekskill, engaged in a physical altercation and stabbed the victim in Cortlandt on Crompond Road (Route 202) outside of My Second House Bar. on Wednesday, May 29. Paredes was charged with assault in the second degree, a Class D felony. Contreras Paredes was turned over to the custody of Westchester County Corrections for an active, unrelated arrest warrant.
