Head-On Crash: Pair Of 11-Year-Olds Injured In Hudson Valley
Two 11-year-olds on were injured in a head-on crash in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 3:20 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18, on Sunny Ridge Road in New Hempstead. According to Ramapo Police Lt. Thomas Dolan, officers responding to the crash found the two injured children who were riding a miniature dirt bike on the roadway. New York State Police are investigating a vehicle/pedestrian crash in which a wanted man was struck by an unmarked state police car. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 5 p.m., Thursday, on Cannon Street in the city of Poughkeepsie. According to State Police, an unmarked state police vehicle was traveling westbound on Cannon Street, attempting to locate Conrad J. Driver Injured In 2-Car Crash In Front Of Historic Hudson Valley Manor
A two-car crash in front of a historic Northern Westchester manor-turned-museum caused injuries, firefighters said. The incident happened in Croton-on-Hudson on Saturday, Sept. 7 at around 7:20 p.m., when two vehicles collided in front of Van Cortlandt Manor on South Riverside Avenue, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department. Arriving fire crews dealt with a fluid spill from one of the cars while EMS treated a driver injured in the crash. Both vehicles were later towed away, the department said. The cause of the crash was not released.

State Police are investigating a mob of ATVs and motorcycles who took over a roadway in the region, injuring one and threatening a trooper. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 4:10 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, on Route 9D in Wappingers Falls. Two people received non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the Hudson Valley during an incident. The shooting took place in Orange County around 4 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 7, in the area of 182 Lander Street.
