A crash involving an overturned truck and resulting fire caused major delays on Interstate 84 in Putnam on Tuesday morning, July 15. The crash happened east of Exit 61 (Route 311) in Patterson at around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, according to New York State Police and 511NY traffic reports. One of two eastbound lanes was temporarily blocked in the area, but has since reopened. According to traffic reports, the incident involved an overturned truck that caught on fire and spilled fuel. Flooding Closes Route 22 Stretch In NY (

A stretch of Route 22 in Putnam County is closed as a result of flooding. The stretch of Route 22 in Patterson between Route 164 and Haviland Hollow Road is currently closed as of Monday, July 14 at 5:45 p.m., according to 511NY traffic reports.
