38-Year-Old Severely Injured In Chain-Reaction Central Islip Crash One person suffered seriously injuries in a chain-reaction, three-vehicle Long Island crash. It happened around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, in Central Islip. A 38-year-old Medford man was operating a 2015 Honda motorcycle westbound on Suffolk Avenue when the vehicle collided with a 2019 Honda CRV that was turning from Suffolk Avenue to northbound Sycamore Lane. The motorcycle then collided with a 2020 Lexus that was stopped in the southbound lane of Sycamore Lane.
