Wheatley Heights Man, 23, Dies When Car Crashes Into 18-Wheeler On NJ Turnpike: Troopers A Long Island man was killed when his car crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. Donald Butler of Wheatley Heights, died in the crash in Westampton Township on Tuesday, Oct. 15, a New Jersey State Police spokesperson said.  Troopers responded to the northbound side of the turnpike near milepost 43.9 at around 9:56 p.m. The crash happened just south of Exit 5, which is the interchange for Burlington-Mount Holly Road. A Long Island woman has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her.  Betty Falk, age 66, was last seen leaving her Hewlett home in her 2023 black Mercedes-Benz around 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7. She is described as being vulnerable. Police say she's 5-foot-4, 110 pounds with long black hair. Her destination is unknown.
