Bicyclist Critical After Being Struck By SUV In Kings Park A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a car on Long Island. The wreck happened in Kings Park, near Indian Head Road and Manitou Trail, at around noon Friday, Feb. 28. A 64-year-old Kings Park man was riding his bicycle on the shoulder of the roadway when he was struck by a Lexus SUV driven by a 34-year-old Kings Park woman, Suffolk County Police said. The bicyclist was taken by ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition, police said. The SUV driver and her passenger were not injured. Driver Accused In String Of Antisemitic Threats Around Long Island Injures Officer, Police Say A man is accused in a string of threats and antisemitic remarks targeting random people around Long Island. Nassau County Police said detectives were informed of two separate disturbances in Cedarhurst at around 1:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4.  The first happened near Lincoln Street and Oakland Avenue, and the second occurred near Barrett Road and Washington Avenue. Woman Crashes Lexus Into Westbury Home Police are investigating after a woman crashed into a Long Island home. The incident happened around 6:45 p.m. Friday, June 21, in Westbury.
