Man Killed When Car Falls On Him Outside Bay Shore Pep Boys A man was killed while working on a car outside a Long Island auto shop. The incident happened in Bay Shore, at the Pep Boys on Sunrise Highway, sometime overnight Wednesday, Nov. 6. Suffolk County Police said Stephan Edwards was in the parking lot working on a Kia sedan that was raised on a jack when the vehicle fell on him. The 30-year-old Edwards, of Margate, Florida, was discovered shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
