Suspect Nabbed In Region After Knifepoint Robbery Leads To Cross-State Manhunt From a FedEx delivery to a high-stakes chase, a cross-state manhunt ended in the dramatic arrest in New York of a suspect from Pennsylvania who allegedly fled from a knifepoint robbery in Connecticut.  The Putnam County Sheriff's Office just released details on the chain of events that began Monday, Sept. 30, at approximately 3:45 p.m. when it received a description of a vehicle and suspect that had just been involved in the Litchfield County incident in the town of New Milford. Teen From Region Charged With Murder Of 29-Year-Old Man A Hudson Valley teen who had been the subject of an extensive manhunt and was caught in South Carolina has been charged in the shooting death of a local man. Rockland County resident Yandie Martinez, age 18, of Haverstraw, was arraigned on one count of murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the Monday, July 1, homicide in Haverstraw.
