A 40-year-old Coram man was driving a 2004 Honda Accord westbound on Middle Country Road, approaching the intersection of Lake Avenue, when the vehicle struck a 2024 Chevrolet Sonic that had been traveling eastbound and was attempting to turn left onto Lake Avenue, Suffolk County Police said. ID Released For Man Killed In Hit-Run Long Island DWI Crash The identity has been released of a man killed in a hit-and-run Long Island crash involving an allegedly drunk driver. The crash happened around 4 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, in Westbury. A 2006 gray Chrysler Sebring was traveling eastbound on Old Country Road when it struck a bicyclist near the intersection of State Street.  The bicyclist sustained extensive injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nassau County Police paramedic. It happened in Levittown, at the Collectors Emporium on Hempstead Turnpike, at around midnight Tuesday, Oct. 29. Nassau County Police said three people entered the business by breaking a rear door. They then stole an unknown amount of merchandise before fleeing the scene. No suspects had been publicly identified or arrested as of Tuesday evening. 3 Hospitalized After Overnight Long Island Expressway Crash Two men and a woman were hospitalized after an overnight crash on the Long Island Expressway. It happened just before 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, in Jericho. That's when a 2016 Volvo tractor-trailer was traveling eastbound and struck a 2005 Isuzu in the vicinity of Exit 40E, according to Nassau County Police.
